In high school, I took a yearbook class.

Little did I know that this would be the first steps that would shape me and my career. While I’m sure there were any number of reasons why I first signed up for the class, what kept me coming back was the experience of practicing creativity and functionality in the same space.

While new to me at the time, this combination still felt familiar and comfortable. My head and my heart have always collaborated when it comes to big life decisions. Creative design has equally felt like second nature. The tension between form and function demands flexibility and is a radical catalyst for creativity, and the intersection of the two is a place I greatly enjoy to reside, and often thrive in.

In my own work, I strive to create this happy medium– a place where beauty and practicality live alongside one another, allowing for storytelling to grow.
